Hey y'all!!! We've been gigging and having a blast!!! After our Read Island gig with Choda Lightning and our Canada Day extravaganza with Les Maudits, we got ourselves all ready for the 5th Annual Artsfest which was as much fun as the posters promised. Not even Charlotte's bout of extreme heat stroke could stop us ... we rocked the place and had the crowd feeling as good as we did in no time. That wicked steel drum is so infectious. We dressed ourselves as pirates which seemed to fit the mood well, complete with eye patch, kerchief and revolvers!! Garnette kicked it hard and the rest of us were along for the ride. A big shout out to our kingpin, Milan. He stops at nothing to get this festival tops and it is ... while maintaining the whole event on donations and love ... Now we're onto other ventures!! We are off to Robert's Creek and then the 25th Annual Sunshine Music Festival ... September 1st and 2nd ... I'll post something in a bit with more information. This should proove to be a huge thrill and an exciting show. We're ready and grateful for the opportunity to take our music off to other venues. We always love to see familiar faces in the crowd ... if you are at all able to come out, please make it happen. Let's bring the love and the riot!! Much love, AGB
